Restore a Deleted Entity in Fibery
Find the deleted entity in Trash, select it and Restore. If its parent database was also deleted, restore that container before recovering the record.
Before you start: Use an account with the necessary data access and act within the plan’s retention window. Check what was deleted before recreating a replacement record.
Worked example: A Feature disappears after its database was accidentally deleted. Restoring only a new empty database with the same name is not the same as recovering the original container and Feature.
Step-by-step guide
Investigate the deletion
Open Activity near the bottom of the sidebar. Use the event and time filters to identify whether one record or its parent database was removed.
Open Trash
Find Trash at the bottom left and use its filters to locate the deleted entity. Check its identity rather than matching only the display name.
Recover the parent if needed
If the database was deleted too, restore it first using Activity or Trash. The entity needs a valid place to return to.
Restore the record
Select the deleted entity and click Restore. Wait for the restored item to become accessible before attempting a second recovery.
Inspect the recovered workflow
Open the entity and check its fields, relations and visibility. If the intended View is still missing, investigate that item separately with an Admin.
Common mistakes
Recreating instead of recovering
A new record with the same title may not restore the original links or history. Look for the original item first.
