How it works

At the start of a sprint, total committed work is plotted on the y-axis. Each day, completed work is subtracted. The ideal line is a straight diagonal from total work to zero. The actual line shows real progress. Deviations from the ideal line reveal patterns: flat lines mean blocked work, upward spikes mean scope was added.
