Create a Notion database with columns: Initiative (title), Theme (select: Growth/Retention/Platform/Compliance), Quarter (select), Impact Metric (text: which SaaS metric this moves), Expected Lift (text), Effort (select: S/M/L/XL), Status, and Owner. Group the board view by Theme to see the balance of investment across themes.
PLG-Driven Prioritization
Add a PLG Score formula: initiatives that improve activation (+3), reduce time-to-value (+3), increase viral coefficient (+2), or drive expansion revenue (+2) score higher than those that only add features for existing users (+1). Use this to ensure the roadmap supports product-led growth.
Multi-Audience Views
Create three Notion views of the same database: Timeline view (for leadership: shows quarters and milestones), Board view grouped by Theme (for the team: shows current work), and Table view with all details (for stakeholders: full transparency on scope and status).
Quarterly Roadmap Review
